On January 24th, 2018, Yun Yao, vice director, Junjie Lin, commissioner, Hui Li, deputy commissioner, and Quanhong Zhang, commissioner, all from the Health and Family Planning Commission of Hubei Province, visited and investigated the construction of the Human Genetics Resource Preservation Center (Biobank), Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University. Professor Xinghuan Wang, the president of Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University, professor Jun Lin, vice party committee secretary, Jianying Huang, commissioner of Research Office, Yu Xiao, the director of Department of Biological Repositories, and Sheng Li, vice director of Department of Biological Repositories, attended the survey.
During the meeting, Mr. Yun Yao, vice director of the Health and Family Planning Commission of Hubei Province, highly praised the Department of Biological Repositories, Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University, as an early mover and farsighted project. Mr. Yao promised to continuously support the establishment of our research platform, resource integration and all other projects in our Biobank.
